Rams' Jackson Questionable For Sunday; Bulger Expected To Start

POSTED: 3:22 pm EST November 28, 2008

(Sports Network) - St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Miami and quarterback Marc Bulger is expected to start after leaving last week's game with a concussion.

Jackson, still bothered by a thigh injury, was limited in practice for the third straight day on Friday, while Bulger had full participation for the second consecutive day.

Rams head coach Jim Haslett said Bulger is listed as probable and Jackson would likely be a game-time decision.

"I'll have to see how he feels and I thought he got better as the week went on," said Haslett about his star running back. "I'll talk to him today and we'll make a decision by the game."

Jackson was initially hurt in an October 19 game against Dallas when he ran for 160 yards and three touchdowns. He sat out a week and returned for the November 2 game against Arizona, but was limited in that contest and has missed the last three games.

Despite playing in only seven games, Jackson leads the team with 525 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Bulger was hurt last week early in the first quarter when he took a shot to the head on a sack by Chicago defensive tackle Adewale Ogunleye. He had completed each of his two passes for 11 yards before being replaced by veteran Trent Green.

For the season, Bulger has completed 58.2 percent of his passes for 1,679 yards with seven touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Offensive tackle Orlando Pace is also probable with a knee injury.
