Orchard Park, NY -- (Sports Network) - Shaun Hill threw the only touchdown of the game in the first quarter and the San Francisco 49ers left Buffalo with a 10-3 victory. Isaac Bruce had five catches for 67 yards and the score while Hill went 14-for-23 with 161 yards for the 49ers (4-8), who won for the second time in the past three games. Frank Gore had 66 yards on 24 carries and added three catches for 23 yards in the win. The victory means that Arizona will have to wait at least another week before clinching the NFC West as the Cardinals lost to Philadelphia on Thanksgiving to drop to 7-5 on the season. If Arizona wins any of its final four games, it clinches the division. Trent Edwards went 10-for-21 with 112 yards, but was on the sidelines for the entire second half with a groin strain. J.P. Losman took over under center in the second half and went 11-for-17 with 93 yards while Marshawn Lynch had 16 carries for 134 yards for the Bills (6-6), who have gone 2-6 after opening the season with four straight wins.Final Score: Baltimore 34, Cincinnati 3 Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Rookie quarterback Joe Flacco threw a pair of touchdowns, as the Baltimore Ravens stymied the lowly Cincinnati Bengals, 34-3, at Paul Brown Stadium. Flacco finished with a career-high 280 yards on 19-of-29 passing for the Ravens (8-4), who have won six of their last seven games and remain one game back of Pittsburgh in the AFC North. The Steelers walloped New England, 33-10, in Foxboro on Sunday. Mark Clayton caught a 70-yard touchdown and finished with a career-high 164 yards on five receptions. He also threw a 32-yard TD pass to Derrick Mason, while Le'Ron McClain gained 86 yards on the ground for Baltimore. Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled mightily for the Bengals (1-10-1), completing just 12-of-31 passes for 124 yards. Cincinnati generated only 57 yards rushing in its latest setback. Final Score: Indianapolis 10, Cleveland 6 Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Robert Mathis' 37-yard fumble return with 9:45 remaining in the fourth quarter lifted the Indianapolis Colts to a 10-6 win over the Cleveland Browns. Mathis finished with two sacks for the surging Colts (8-4), who have reeled off five straight wins after an uncharacteristic start that featured four losses in their first seven games, continuing their push for a Wild Card spot in the jumbled AFC. Peyton Manning completed 15-of-21 passes for 125 yards for Indianapolis, while Joseph Addai mustered only 57 yards on 15 carries. Manning threw a pair of interceptions and fumbled the ball on the goal line. Derek Anderson's Pro Bowl campaign in 2007 resulted in a big contract in the offseason and heightened expectations for the Browns, but the Oregon State product endured a slow start and was relegated to backup duty in favor of Brady Quinn. But with the former Notre Dame signal-caller out for the season with a fractured right index finger, Anderson was back under center for the Browns (4-8), who have dropped four of their last five games. He threw for just 110 yards on 16-of-26 passing before leaving late in the fourth quarter with a sprained ligament in his left knee. Final Score: Carolina 35, Green Bay 31 Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - DeAngelo Williams ran for four touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 1:30 left in the game, as the Carolina Panthers upended the Green Bay Packers, 35-31. Williams had 21 carries for 72 yards for the Panthers (9-3), who kept pace with Tampa Bay for first place in the NFC South. The Bucs beat New Orleans, 23-20, on a late field goal Sunday. Jake Delhomme passed for 177 yards on 12-of-17 completions for Carolina, while Steve Smith caught four passes for 105 yards. Two of his grabs got the ball to the one-yard line to set up Williams touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns on 29-of-45 completions for Green Bay (5-7), which has lost two in a row and four of five. The Packers fell further behind in the NFC North, as Minnesota beat Chicago, 34-14, Sunday night. The Vikings took over first place in the division, while the Packers are a game behind the Bears for second. Greg Jennings, Donald Driver and Donald Lee each had a receiving touchdown in the loss for Green Bay. Final Score: Miami 16, St. Louis 12 St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - Ronnie Brown scored the only touchdown of the contest and the Miami Dolphins edged the St. Louis Rams, 16-12. Brown carried the ball 15 times for 48 yards and scored in the second quarter while Dan Carpenter was 3-for-3 on field goals and added an extra-point for the Dolphins (7-5), who have won five of their last six. Chad Pennington went 13-for-23 with 166 yards for Miami, which now sits only one game behind the first-place Jets for the AFC East lead. New York lost, 34-17, to the Broncos on Sunday. The Dolphins are also one game behind Indianapolis (8-4) and Baltimore (8-4) for the AFC Wild Card spots after the Colts and Ravens each posted a victory on Sunday. Marc Bulger went 16-for-35 with 149 yards and was picked off three times while Steven Jackson, who had missed four of the last five games with a right thigh injury, started the game and had 21 carries for 94 yards for the Rams (2-10), who have dropped their last six games. Josh Brown went 4-for-4 on field goal attempts to account for all of St. Louis' points. Final Score: Tampa Bay 23, New Orleans 20 Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Matt Bryant had three field goals, including the go-ahead kick with 1:55 remaining, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers held on to edge the New Orleans Saints, 23-20, in a key NFC South bout. Jeff Garcia completed just 9-of-23 passes for 119 yards and a score on a rainy afternoon but had no interceptions and ran for 42 yards for the Bucs (9-3), who have won four in a row. Tampa Bay kept pace with Carolina for first place in the division, as the Panthers beat Green Bay, 35-31, on a late touchdown. The Bucs and Panthers now hold a three-game lead over New Orleans, with Atlanta one game back at 8-4. The Falcons beat San Diego, 22-16, later Sunday. Warrick Dunn ran for 74 yards, while Carnell Williams had a rushing touchdown for Tampa Bay. Antonio Bryant caught three passes for 63 yards and a score. Drew Brees threw for 296 yards and two scores on 25-of-47 passing for the Saints (6-6) but was intercepted three times. Marques Colston caught six passes for 106 yards in the loss. Final Score: NY Giants 23, Washington 7 Landover, MD (Sports Network) - Eli Manning threw for 305 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown to Amani Toomer, and Brandon Jacobs ran for another score, as the New York Giants defeated the Washington Redskins, 23-7, at FedEx Field. Manning finished 21-of-34 passing and was picked off one time, while Jacobs rushed for 71 yards. Toomer caught five passes for 85 yards for the Giants (11-1), who have won seven straight games since dropping a 35-14 decision to Cleveland on October 13. John Carney kicked three field goals for New York, which can clinch the NFC East Division next Sunday with either a win over Philadelphia or a Dallas loss at Pittsburgh. Derrick Ward finished with 105 total yards for the Giants. New York has emerged victorious in 15 of its 16 most recent away games dating back to last season and improved to 8-0 against NFC opponents this season. The Giants were without starting wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who is suffering from a hamstring injury. Burress was also involved in an apparent accidental shooting at a New York night club on Friday evening when he reportedly suffered a self-inflicted wound to his right thigh. Jason Campbell was 23-of-38 passing for 232 yards and an interception, while Devin Thomas scored his first career NFL touchdown on a 29-yard run for Washington (7-5), which has dropped three of its last four. Clinton Portis was limited to 22 yards rushing on 11 carries and one catch for 15 yards for the Redskins. Chris Cooley had six grabs for 71 yards in defeat. Final Score: Atlanta 22, San Diego 16 San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - Matt Ryan tossed a pair of touchdown passes and Michael Turner ran for 120 yards against his old team as the surprise Atlanta Falcons gutted out a 22-16 victory over the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium. Ryan was an efficient 17-of-23 passing for 207 yards and Turner was the workhorse with 31 carries as Atlanta (8-4) won for the fourth time in five games to keep pace in a stacked NFC South. Carolina and Tampa Bay both logged victories earlier Sunday to move to 9-3. Turner spent his first four NFL seasons in the enormous shadow of LaDainian Tomlinson before leaving San Diego via free agency after the 2007 campaign. The powerful 26-year-old signed with the Falcons in March for a long-awaited opportunity to be a feature back, and has proven he can handle the important role. Philip Rivers was a pedestrian 17-of-30 passing for 149 yards while Tomlinson continued his season-long struggles, but achieved some long-term success. He gained just 24 yards on 14 carries with a TD -- the 136th of his career -- tying him with Marshall Faulk for fifth on the all-time scoring list. Tomlinson also had five receptions for 42 yards, including the 500th catch of his career. San Diego (4-8) enters the season's stretch run with its string of two consecutive AFC West championships in serious jeopardy after suffering its fifth loss in the last six games. Final Score: Pittsburgh 33, New England 10 Foxboro, MA (Sports Network) - Ben Roethlisberger threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns on 17-of-33 completions as Pittsburgh capitalized on key second- half turnovers to crush New England, 33-10, at a rain-soaked Gillette Stadium. Jeff Reed made four field goals for the Steelers (9-3), who reeled off 30 consecutive points in the contest for their third win in a row and fourth in five. Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes recorded touchdown receptions, while Willie Parker and Mewelde Moore racked up 154 combined rushing yards for the AFC North leaders. Kevin Faulk gained 73 yards on six carries and caught seven balls for 48 yards for the Patriots (7-5), who turned the ball over five times en route to their second loss in three games. Matt Cassel completed just 19-of-39 passes for 169 yards but threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles in defeat. Sammy Morris picked up 45 rushing yards and New England's lone touchdown on 10 rushes. Final Score: Denver 34, NY Jets 17 East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - Jay Cutler threw for 357 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Denver Broncos to an important 34-17 road victory over the New York Jets. Cutler completed 27-of-43 passes and threw an interception for the Broncos (7-5), who, with San Diego's 22-16 loss to Atlanta, sit a comfortable three games ahead of the Chargers in the AFC West with four games to play. Denver will be able to clinch a division title next week with a win over Kansas City coupled with a San Diego loss to Oakland. Peyton Hillis ran for 129 yards and a score on 22 carries, while Eddie Royal caught five passes for 84 yards and a touchdown in the victory. Tony Scheffler added 90 yards on seven catches for Denver. Thomas Jones ran for 138 yards and two scores for the Jets (8-4), who had a a five-game winning streak snapped and sit one game ahead of both New England and Miami in the competitive AFC East after the Patriots lost to Pittsburgh and the Dolphins beat St. Louis on Sunday. The Bills are two games behind the Jets after losing to San Francisco. Brett Favre was unimpressive, going 23- of-43 for 247 yards and an interception, while Dustin Keller caught seven passes for 77 yards. Leon Washington had 64 total rushing and receiving yards in the loss. Final Score: Kansas City 20, Oakland 13 Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Larry Johnson rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown, and Maurice Leggett returned a fumble 67 yards for another score as the Kansas City Chiefs got by the Oakland Raiders, 20-13. Tyler Thigpen completed 15-of-22 passes for 162 yards and was picked off once for Kansas City (2-10), which snapped a seven-game skid. Tony Gonzalez had eight grabs for 110 yards, while Connor Barth kicked a pair of field goals in the win. The Chiefs became the first team in NFL history to win six straight road games versus the Raiders. Kansas City won for only the second time in its last 21 games and last Sunday dropped a wild 54-31 decision at home to the Buffalo Bills. JaMarcus Russell was a woeful 10-of-28 passing for 132 yards for the Raiders (3-9), who were unable to build off a shocking 31-10 road victory over the Denver Broncos last Sunday. Oakland has dropped five of six. Justin Fargas accounted for the Raiders lone touchdown and rushed for 82 yards, while Zach Miller caught five passes for 79 yards. Final Score: Minnesota 34, Chicago 14 Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Gus Frerotte connected with former Bear Bernard Berrian on a franchise-record 99-yard score, and the Vikings posted a pair of touchdowns in the final five minutes of the first half to beat Chicago, 34-14, and take over first place in the NFC North.
