Thieves broke into a garden store in Raynham and stole Christmas trees twice during the holiday weekend, according to the Brockton Enterprise.

About $1,500 worth of merchandise was stolen from the Garden Patch on Route 44 late Thanksgiving night. The items included small Christmas trees, table runners, tree arrangements and other holiday items, the newspaper reported.

A storeowner noticed that some items were out of place and found that a fence in back of the store had been cut open.

The store was hit again on Saturday night when a $120, 14-foot tall Christmas tree was stolen.
