Two sophomores were involved in a fight when a third teen got involved in the altercation and stabbed one of the teens in the buttocks near the entrance to the school at 115 A St., police said.

"There were two kids fighting. They were going at it, and a third kid jumped in," one witness said.

"People were crying. Everyone was wondering what was going on," one student said.

The victim ran into the school for help, according to Framingham Police Lt. Paul Shastany. A MedFlight helicopter was called to the school, and the victim was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

"The nature appears to be over the disrespect of a girl," Shastany said.

Two teens were arrested in connection with the stabbing, according to police. A 15-year-old boy, the alleged stabber, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to kill, disorderly conduct and disturbance of a school committee.

The brother of the stabbing suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbance of a school committee.
