ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- A teenager was killed and another was injured late Friday night when the Jeep they were riding in crashed into a tree on a slick road, police said.

Rebeckha Whitefield, 17, of Attleboro, was pronounced dead at the scene, and Nathan Birch, 16, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with head injuries. He was in critical condition.

Whitefield just got her license three months ago.
