Boozer Sits Out In San Antonio

POSTED: 11:41 pm EST November 21, 2008

(Sports Network) - Utah Jazz forward Carlos Boozer missed Friday's 119-94 loss to the San Antonio Spurs with a strained left quad tendon.

Boozer left Wednesday's win over Milwaukee in the fourth quarter while going up for a rebound. Boozer's knee buckled and Kosta Koufos, who finished with eight points, got the nod in the starting lineup against the Spurs, who have now won 19 straight regular season games against the Jazz on their home court.

Boozer is averaging 20.5 points and 11.7 rebounds this season.

Guard Deron Williams (ankle), forward Kyle Korver (wrist) and center Jarron Collins (wrist) were also out of the Jazz lineup against San Antonio.
