BOSTON -- Police in Brewster found an 11-year-old who was reported missing earlier Thursday, according to the Cape Cod Times.

The boy's mother said that she last saw the boy offshore from Breakwater Beach. Police said that the family was visiting the area from out of town.

Rescue boats searched the area, where the water in that part of the bay retreats several miles at low tide, the newspaper reported.
