It's a problem many women face every spring when it gets warm -- finding a summer bathing suit that's flattering to their body. For her weekly Good Housekeeping Report, NewsCenter 5's Gail Huff spoke to a fashion consultant about finding the right suit -- no matter what your size and figure.

Good Housekeeping's fashion director, Aretha Busby, has been on a mission: to size up the best bathing suits for a variety of women.

"Most women are concerned about three areas: One is bust, second is belly and third is hips and thighs. We chose the best women and we found the best suits for them," said Busby.

One woman, Lorraine, wanted something that drew attention away from her hips.

"Most women tend to gravitate towards solid suits and they would never consider a print. But a print is great. It can distract from a small bust, problematic midsection, any sort of hip problem that you have. Everyone's eye immediately goes to this dynamite graphic that you have. Maria's wearing a Hibiscus print Tankini by Tommy Bahama. There is this fantastic band that sits right under the bust line. That's great because it draws the eye upward, which distracts from any sort of belly problems or thigh problems that you may have," Busby said.

Another woman, Pascale, wanted a bathing suit that gave her bust more support.

"This one is great because it actually has this really, really supportive underwire built in, so it's like being out in a bra that you can swim in, which is absolutely fantastic," said Busby.

If you prefer simpler suits in a solid color, Busby suggests choosing a suit with old-fashioned glamour and nautical hues. A twist front tank from J. Crew is perfect.

Busby also suggests wearing a belt over the suit because it hugs the hips and pulls attention away from your belly. The bigger your belly, the lower you should wear the belt.
