BOSTON -- United Way merges effective partners, wise investments, and committed volunteers to improve people's quality of life. We strategically tackle the most critical issues to create measurable differences in our region. We know that the way to make our region the best place for children in the country is to both strengthen the financial stability of their parents and ensure that kids get the nurturing support and educational opportunities that will prepare them for adulthood.Together, we can improve our quality of life. Our Impact Areas:
Healthy Child Development: Children are healthy, nurtured and ready to succeed when they enter school. Increasing Youth Opportunities: Teenagers graduate high school with positive options for the future. Affordable Housing: Families have increased economic independence and access to safe, affordable housing. Sustainable Employment: Parents have jobs that can support their families and the skills to move up the economic ladder.
Our work is made possible through the work of our volunteers, partnerships with government, business, education, labor, faith groups, non-profit organizations and committed citizens like you.For more information or to find out how to get involved, click here.United Way creates measurable impact through strategic investments in long-term solutions. Here are a few examples of your investment in action.Child Impact
